Why I love the online world
I've been working in the online world for over a decade. I began my career as a graphic designer but saw that the web was where to build true connections with other people across physical and cultural boundaries. Usability and accessibility best practices are at the forefront of my approach to connecting businesses to customers. I write effective and actionable content that gets your message across efficiently.

Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service
Digital Media Program Director
2013 - Present
I lead the website development team for the U of A Cooperative Extension Service. I help to coordinate content management best practices and oversee training of Extension employees on how to manage their pages on our website.
Social media management is another important aspect of my role here at Extension and I help to create the best practice recommendations for both our program areas and county Extension agents. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and the ever-growing world of social media allow Extension to reach our clientele like never before. It is important we have a consistent message to all Arkansans.
My experience with search engine optimization is an important skill I bring to the world of online marketing and can craft heading tags and calls to action that encourage readers to engage with your content. Accessibility is another area of focus and I have done research and application of best practices for all websites and
I also love to present! I've been a public speaker at over a dozen local and international conferences and love teaching online marketing and web writing best practices to new students.
